Party Poker, the largest of all online poker rooms, has nice, soft games on its website. The most challenging part of playing on Party Poker, however, is actually completing the registration before the tournament fills up.

The world's highest ring game traffic is found on Party Poker. It recently, April 2006, recorded real money player statistics at peak hours reaching 12,000-13,100 ring game players, and 55,000-60,000 tournament players.

In addition to having very soft games, benefits of Party Poker include very good loyalty programmes and promotions. There are a lot of special events offered on Party Poker as well as a generous programme for membership referral.

Party Poker features a decent range of poker variations such as Texas Hold'em, Omaha and 7-Card-Stud (both high and hi-lo). Unfortunately, some popular variations are missing and there are no heads-up matches or micro-limit Sit & Go tournaments.

The software may not be as aesthetically pleasing as others on the market, but it has good playability. To guarantee a reliable operation, Party Poker has rolled out more servers and as a result, has seen enormous growth. This has primarily been successful, even though there have been some delays and disconnections have occurred in large tournaments.

The rake on Party Poker is not so competitive, particularly on low-stake games where the rake may be as high as 10%. Tournaments fees are also quite high.

The 24/7 telephone customer support is dependable and often responds very quickly. Support personnel are well-informed about promotions and such complicated matters. There is e-mail support, but response times may be a bit long from time to time.

Party Poker accepts most of the usual means for cash deposit, such as Neteller, bank draft and several bank cards.
